Mind-Body-Awareness offers Alexander Technique lessons and courses with Wendy Broad (PhD, MSTAT). One-to-one Alexander Technique lessons are available in Middlewich, Cheshire and Alexander Technique courses are offered for groups and organisations across Cheshire and the Northwest.

One-to-one Alexander Technique lessons

Wendy uses explanation and guides you with light, gentle hands to help you learn new movement patterns to restore natural balance, poise and ease of movement. During the lesson, you can explore walking sitting, standing and lying down in semi-supine (active rest). Each session is tailored to your individual needs.

In these courses, you learn how to refine your mind-body connection to change automatic patterns and habits which interfere with your riding. You learn how to release unwanted tension in your neck, back, shoulders and hips so that you can develop a more fluid, integrated and responsive partnership with your horse.
