Mindfulness Practice Sessions in Cheshire
You are invited to share an evening of mindfulness at the Mews, Whitegate, Cheshire on Thursday 29 Nov 2019 from 7.00-9.15pm, costing £25. All are welcome. This session provides an opportunity to retreat to a place of calm and ease before the festive period. The mindfulness practices that we will be exploring are based on the secular mindfulness practices from the Breathworks mindfulness programmes and include mindfulness of the breath, gentle mindful movement and the body scan practice to help us to focus, settle and calm the mind.
How can mindfulness help me?
Mindfulness has been shown to help reduce stress, improve sleep patterns, enhance health and wellbeing and enable you to take a new perspective on life’s ups and downs, restoring ease and calm.
Venue: The Mews (next to St Mary’s Church), Cinder Hill, Whitegate, Northwich, Cheshire, CW8 2BH. The venue is five minutes from the A556 at Hartford and 5 minutes from the A54 between Winsford and Hartford.

What happens in the session?
There will be a series of short mindfulness practices including mindfulness of the breath, the body scan practice and some gentle, easy mindful movement as well as some mindfulness-based activities which are relevant to daily life. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
Please bring a Yoga-type mat, as well as a cushion and blanket if you’d like to lie down for the body scan.
Who is the session for?
All are welcome, whether you’re new to mindfulness or have a regular practice. If you are considering taking an 8-week mindfulness course this session offers the chance to explore the type of mindfulness practices and mindfulness-based activities which you will experience on the course. Under 18s need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
