Modern Pilates 1:1 Sessions

We will be offering mat-based Modern-Pilates, AT-Pilates and Postural Assessments on a one-to-one basis in Tattenhall once the pandemic has passed.

Modern Pilates exercises are slow and controlled, developing core strength and stability, natural balanced alignment and flexibility for everyday activities.

AT-Pilates combines the principles of the Alexander Technique with Modern Pilates foundation/ basic level exercises, with an emphasis on the alignment of the head, neck and back and letting go of unnecessary tension in the body to restore natural movement patterns.

Exercises are done in standing, as well as lying down on the floor on your back, on your front and on your sides (on a Yoga mat). All exercises can be adapted if necessary. There will also be some balances and stretches. You can use a chair to help you balance and to help you move down to the floor if needed.

One-to-one lessons & Postural Assessments

The initial session including a postural assessment lasts for 1 hour and 30 minutes. All other sessions last for 1 hour.

Initial session: £50 (including a postural assessment)

Subsequent sessions: £40 (for 1 hour)
