This is a clinical approach developed by physiotherapists, which integrates the work of Joseph Pilates with recent research and is applicable to daily life.

Wendy Broad (PhD, PGCert, MSTAT) is the founder of Mind-Body-Awareness. She is a STAT qualified teacher of the Alexander Technique and mindfulness teacher with a Postgraduate Certificate in Mindfulness-based approaches from Bangor University and an accreditation to teach Breathworks mindfulness courses. Wendy has been practising mind-body awareness techniques on a daily basis for 19 years. She is also a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) accredited practitioner with specialist training skills in stress management and building resilience in the workplace. Wendy adheres to the UK Mindfulness Teachers Good Practice Guidelines.




Mind-Body-Awareness supports people across the whole of the Northwest. Lessons and courses are in easy reach of Middlewich, Whitegate, Northwich, Davenham, Kingsmead, Weaverham, Norley, Acton Bridge, Holmes Chapel, Knutsford, Nantwich, Sandbach, Crewe, Runcorn, Tarporley, Chester, Altrincham, Hale, Warrington and Stoke-on-Trent.

Alexander Technique lessons and one-to-one Mindfulness courses are available in Middlewich. The clinic is a 5-minute drive from the M6 junction 18 at Holmes Chapel.

Mindfulness courses for stress relief and wellbeing are offered in Sandbach, Cheshire and Mindfulness courses for long-term pain and illness are offered in Knutsford, Cheshire. Monthly Mindfulness practice sessions are available in Knutsford for people with an ongoing meditation practice. Alexander Technique courses are offered at different venues across Cheshire.
