Wendy has over 20 years experience teaching mind-body-awareness approaches, including Pilates, the Alexander Technique and Mindfulness-based approaches. She is passionate about helping people learn ways to use their body and mind to minimise stress and strain, to keep flexible and stay mobile for as long as possible.

FIRST GROUP CLASS FREE FOR NEWCOMERS

Pilates classes are held weekly on Tuesdays from 12.45-13.45 (Gentle Pilates) and 14.00-15.00 (Beginners/Refresher Pilates) and Thursdays from 17.30-18.30 (Beginners/Refresher Pilates) at The Barbour Institute in Tattenhall, Cheshire. Alexander Technique

Alexander Technique lessons with Wendy are available at The Barbour Institute in Tattenhall. These sessions involve gentle hands on work to help improve posture and ease of movement and to help manage back and neck pain. Wendy is STAT qualified and is a teaching member of STAT. ABOUT WENDY

Wendy Broad (BSc (Hons), PhD, MSTAT) is the founder of Mind-Body-Awareness. She has YMCA Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Pilates and a YMCA Level 3 Diploma in Exercise for older adults. Wendy is also STAT qualified to teach the Alexander Technique and is a teaching member of STAT. Wendy gained her Postgraduate Certificate in Mindfulness-based approaches from Bangor University and has been practising mind-body awareness techniques on a daily basis for more than 20 years.
